Taken with Canon 300D in Ikelite housing using standard 18-55 lens and single Ikelite 125 strobe. Whilst only a small specimen (looks as if the little fella has just gained it's adult colours) it is still absolutely glorious. He tried to hide in a cave, but I found him. Three shots taken. This one I prefer due to the back lighting and the angle of the fish (the others are a more normal position). Photocomp Feburary '05 - Open

I think that this is a Jungle Perch. I have colour corrected the image to try and give you a better look. Taken at the Mosman River, QLD.

The only juvenile lionfish I've ever seen and he was flirting around the edge of a 1.3 metre long blue Giant Clam. I was using a Nikonos V with a removable closeup kit over a 35mm lens. Light was supplied by twin SB105 strobes. This was the last frame on the roll and was taken on snorkel in Turtle Bay on 3rd Sister, Tongue Reef off Cairns, QLD. Shot is upside down.
