With the onset of winter all the giant cuttlefish can be found easily and are really worth braving the winter mornings to see. Taken at Shelly Beach, Sydney, June 2005, with a Canon Powershot S1 IS in a Canon Housing. Photocomp July '05 - Novice

Taken at Shelly Beach, North Sydney with a Canon S1IS, internal flash. Poor visibility around 3m. This photo is one of my first scuba diving; up until now I was free diving. The funny thing about this cuttlefish fish was that my partner didn't see it when it was in camo. She almost tackled it.

Taken at Fairy Bower, Sydney using a Nikonos V. Lens and exposure : Sea&Sea 15mm, f5.6 at 1/125. Film : Ilford SFX. Photocomp March '05 - Open

This is a new discovery from Sydney waters. The little fish, a Sydney Pygmy Pipehorse (Idiotropiscis lumnitzeri), is very hard to photograph. This is a 1:1 shot with a Nikonos III.
