The Oceania Project is a not-for-profit research and education organisation dedicated to raising awareness about Whales, Dolphins and the Oceans through research and education programs.

Our major activity is a long-term study of the behaviour and ecology of humpback whales in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia.

The first Byron Underwater Festival, which was held May 10-13 was a great success with more than 30 divers entering in the Underwater Shoot-Out and over 100 artworks submitted to the ‘Marine Visions’ Art Competition.
